Dr. Margaret Lally
Margaret S. Lally M.D. is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist in private practice since 1989.
Dr. Lally was born in Sharon, PA. She attended the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate studies (1977-81) followed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical School (1981-85).
She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh/UPMC health system in 1985. Her focus is on general pediatric and adult dermatology which includes yearly skin exams, surgical procedures, and the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of skin, hair, and nail concerns.
Dr. Lally has been a member of UMPC St. Margaret medical staff since 1990. As a volunteer with their residency program, Dr. Lally welcomes residents into her office, educating them during their dermatology rotations. She has been named one of Pittsburgh’s Top Docs on multiple occasions.
Dr. Lally and her husband, John Marous, are proud parents of 6 children: Charlotte, Jack, Molly, Kelly, Dan and Andy. She lives with her family in Fox Chapel. When not working she enjoys all aspects of family life. She also finds pleasure in maintaining good physical and mental health with regular exercise, cooking in healthy ways and vegetable gardening.
Dr. Molly Marous
Molly R. Marous, MD, is Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and trained in Mohs surgery. She attended the University of Notre Dame before completing medical school at Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College. She finished her dermatology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center and stayed an additional year to finish her fellowship in Micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology (Mohs).
Dr Marous has published numerous peer reviewed articles and has presented her work at national and international meetings.
She is a native of Pittsburgh and is excited to return to her hometown and help patients maintain healthy skin.
Maria Ressler, PA-C
Maria is a physician assistant who has practiced dermatology since 2006. She is a local resident, having attended Fox Chapel High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating magna cum laude. She was inducted into the Pitt chapter of Phi Beta Kappa Society. Maria was also a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity.
After graduating from Pitt, Maria attended Chatham College and received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2006. During her academic career at Chatham, Maria was honored by the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants by taking second place in the organization’s Diversity in Medicine Writing Contest. Her paper was focused on Huntington’s Disease, genetic testing, and disability.
Maria is a member of the Society of Dermatologic Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistant Society.
Maria is responsible for many services including diagnosing and managing skin diseases, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, and writing prescriptions. She also performs many procedures in the office including biopsies, surgeries, and laser treatments. She is legally and ethically bound to practice dermatology under the supervision of Dr. Lally.
Maria enjoys spending time with her husband, three young children, and two dogs. They all love cheering on the Pitt Panthers!
Dominique Blume, PA-C
Dominique earned her Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Pittsburgh and is certified by the NCCPA. She began her PA efforts in oncology at the Hillman Cancer Center/UPMC Shadyside in 2020, and she brings her particular concerns of skin cancers to her patients.
She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, being in the coveted Glynn Family Honors Program, participating in medical research in the US and Asia that focused on pulmonary disease and pre-natal care.
Dominique provides skin examinations and diagnoses and manages skin cancers, responsible for ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, writing prescriptions, and she also performs a number of office-based procedures. As a board-certified Physician Assistant, she is legally and ethically bound to practice dermatology under the supervision of Dr. Lally.
Dominique lives in the Allison Park area with her husband and three young children.
